WHAT SETS FINTECH APART FROM OTHER SECTORS?

In my view, one of the most distinctive features is the significantly higher level of complexity in its technical setup and infrastructure. Fintech companies often have to deal with developing the newest cutting-edge technology while taking into account intricate regulatory frameworks, and the associated compliance requirements can be quite demanding. As a result, fintech startups typically face higher setup costs compared to businesses in other sectors.
Additionally, fintech companies often handle sensitive customer financial data, which necessitates robust security measures and data protection protocols. These factors add another layer of complexity to the technical infrastructure.
However, the most exciting aspect of this industry is that many traditional banks are lagging behind or are slow to adapt, still creating ample opportunities for innovation and growth.

WHY IS YOUR COMPANY LOCATED IN BERLIN?

One of the primary factors that drew us to Berlin is the vibrant and dynamic spirit of the startup scene in the city which brings together talent from all over the world. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN BERLIN?

My favorite place in Berlin has to be the Spreeuferpromenade, particularly the area near the Strandbar Mitte, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Museum Island and our office at Telegrafenamt. This spot is an absolute delight for relaxation and enjoying Berlin's unique blend of nature and urban life, especially during the summer months.
