Dan previously served as Group President at American Express. Prior to joining American Express, Dan was President of the Prepaid Group at Sprint Nextel Corporation following its acquisition of Virgin Mobile USA, Inc., where he led the company as its founding CEO for eight years. Earlier in his career, Dan was President and CEO of Priceline Group, Inc., where he led the company through a period of rapid growth and expansion. He also spent 18 years at AT&T, where he held a series of positions, including President of the Consumer Markets Division. Dan is actively involved in the World Economic Forum, as a member of the International Business Council, and the Board of Governors and Board of Stewards for the Future of Financial & Monetary Systems platform.
Christian Lindner
Christian Lindner, former federal minister of finance in Germany, is Chairman of the Free Democratic Party.
Lindner was elected party leader of the Free Democrats in December 2013. As chairman of the Free Democrats Parliamentary Group (2017-2021) Christian Lindner established a constructive and successful parliamentary group in the German Bundestag.
Lindner studied political science, philosophy and public law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn. Between 1997 and 2004 he owned an advertising agency and was co-founder of an IT-business. Lindner is a major of the German Air Force reserve.
Hélène Falchier
Hélène Falchier is a Partner at Portage, a global fintech investor with $2.5B AUM.
As a member of Portage, Hélène leads European investments including startups like Mooncard and CLARK. She is one of Europe's pioneer fintech investors, both at the early and growth stages.
Prior to Portage, she founded and served as CEO of Open CNP, the corporate venture program of CNP Assurances (“CNP”). During this period, Open CNP supported startups such as Lydia, October and Alan. Dr. Sebastian Schäfer
Dr. Sebastian Schäfer is CEO of House of Finance & Tech in Berlin. As an experienced entrepreneur and ecosystem builder, Sebastian previously spent over eight years as Managing Director of Fintech Community Frankfurt GmbH (TechQuartier), where he played a key role in launching innovation programs and establishing a global network of over 650 startups and 30 established partners, helping to position the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region as a major innovation hub.
He holds a doctoral degree in behavioral economics from the University of Frankfurt and is associated with the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations and The Frankfurt Laboratory of Experimental Economics at Goethe University. In addition to his academic work, he lectures at Goethe Business School and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and continues to serve as an advisor, business angel, and co-founder at Pitch Club GmbH.

Tuomas Toivonen, Co-founder and CEO at Holvi, has over 15 years of experience advising governments and global mobile operators on payment systems.
Tuomas saw the need for a better banking solution for small businesses in Europe. This drove him to create Holvi – a banking-service designed to meet the unique needs of SMEs.
Burkhard Balz
Burkhard Balz has served on the Bundesbank’s Executive Board since September 2018 and is responsible for the Directorates General Payments and Settlement Systems, Cash Management, Digital Euro, Information Technology and International Central Bank Dialogue.
In his responsibility for the Directorate General Payments and Settlement Systems, Mr. Balz deals with the Bundesbank’s oversight of CCPs and its contribution to the Eurosystem’s market infrastructure (Target 2, Target 2 Securities, Collateral Management and Instant Payments) as well as with the Bundesbank’s positioning towards innovation and tokenisation in the world of payments.
He is a member of the Eurosystem High-Level Task Force on central bank digital currency. Mr Balz is also a Member of the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures of the Bank for International Settlements. Since January 2024 he is alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlement.
Lena Hackelöer
Lena Hackelöer is the Founder and CEO of Brite Payments, a Stockholm-headquartered fintech that utilises the open banking framework to offer instant payments and payouts across 27 European markets. Brite's proprietary instant payments network connects more than 3,800 banks and allows consumers to quickly and securely pay directly from their bank account with only top-of-mind information.
Lena is a distinguished fintech leader, having received numerous accolades including 'Director of the Year' at the Europe Fintech Awards, 'Founder of the Year' at Startup Magazine's Hustle Awards, the ‘Inspiration Award’ at the Women in Payments EMEA Awards, and being recognised by Forbes Magazine as one of the top ten women in European fintech. Dirk van Quaquebeke
Dirk van Quaquebeke is a Managing and General Partner at BEENEXT, a Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm investing in India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the U.S.
He has been living in Asia since 2009 and has been building and investing in early-stage tech companies for over 20 years. He actively participates in over a dozen company boards and has led investments in over 50 companies, such as Trusting Social, Toddle App, Bank Open, M2P Fintech, Cropin, Skuad.io, Kenko Health, and successful exits of Paystack, Wallex, Coins.ph. He has helped create billions of dollars worth of enterprise value and supported the portfolio to raise hundreds of millions in equity rounds. His portfolio companies have frequently attracted follow-on capital from global blue chip names like Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital, or Insight Partners.
Prior to BEENEXT, he co-founded and led the company builder Alps Ventures out of which more than a dozen incubations and investments were done where he headed in an active operating role in three different ventures. He started his career for 5 years in London’s banking and private equity world. Originally from Europe Dirk completed a degree in Computer Science from the University of Hildesheim and a dual MSc. in Corporate Finance & Macro Economics as well as the CEMS degree from Copenhagen Business School & ESADE.
Deena Jacob
Deena Jacob is the Co-founder, CFO of Open, a fintech startup, which offers a neobanking service for SMEs and startups. She has over 18 years of experience in building and establishing finance teams from scratch for early-stage startups. She has led teams across a broad range of functional areas like SME credit and marketing, investment research, business finance and analytics, strategic partnerships, investor relations, legal and compliance apart from end-to-end finance functions.
Currently, she anchors the finance function of Open along with heading revenue and growth for the startup. Open is Asia’s first neo-banking platform that helps SMEs automate their business payments, banking, and accounting functions in one unified service to help business owners focus on their core business. Deena recently won Best CFO Startup from BW CFO in August 2021. She has been a winner of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Most Influential CFOs Award in 2016 and was also chosen in the top 100 CFO roll of honour by CFO India in the category management controls in 2017.
Madhusudanan. R
Madhusudanan. R, aka Madhu, co-founded M2P Fintech in 2014. As CEO, he drives broader strategy and execution on the back of his deep-rooted experience building payments businesses across Asia as part of Citibank and Visa earlier. Prior to starting M2P, Madhu served as the Director of Products at Visa for South Asia, where he incubated and developed several new payment products, including Visa’s Aadhaar-based payments system, working closely with the Government of India.
Madhu graduated from the Institute for Technology and Management with a Master’s degree in Marketing. He also holds a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for healthcare and prepaid payment processing.
Ferdinand Dabitz

Robin Binder
Robin Binder, CEO and founder of NAO, previously worked for several years in corporate banking at UniCredit Bank and then as Managing Director of the ZEITGEIST GROUP family office and VC firm Zeitgeist X Ventures, both of which he played a key role in setting up.

Ha Duong
Ha Duong leads the fund management of BIT Global Crypto Leaders and the BIT Crypto Opportunities fund at BIT Capital.
Ha has an engineering background and has been deeply engaged in the blockchain space since 2016, building a strong track record as a crypto investor and portfolio manager across different investment strategies. In 2018, he co-managed one of Europe’s first crypto fund-of-funds, before joining forces with BIT Capital’s founder and CIO, Jan Beckers, in 2020. In 2021, Ha launched the first actively managed crypto fund by a German asset manager under the fully regulated UCITS framework. Today, it’s the largest fund of its kind in Europe.

Natalie Staniewicz
Natalie combines her two passions into one - business & moderation. She brings with her many years of experience as a freelance moderator of on- and offline formats at international conferences and workshops. At the same time she adds in-depth knowledge value with her insights in the area of innovation, startups, leadership and diversity.
This hands-on expertise stems from her 10+ years in industry roles: Nowadays as FinTech Lead & Senior Manager at Accenture in Vienna. Until 2019, she was Head of Digitalisation & Innovation at the international savings- and retail banking association WSBI-ESBG in Brussels covering 110 banks in 80 countries.

Georg Hauer
Georg has been part of the senior leadership team that scaled N26, the mobile bank.
Afterwards, he helped build the bank compliance infrastructure company Hawk, driving their expansion to 60+ countries as their COO/CFO. Today, he serves as a hands-on advisor and board member for several fintechs. His focus is on navigating the challenges of hyper-growth, fundraising, and the complexities of bank compliance. Additionally, he supports banks and payment firms in their digital banking strategies. He lives in Vienna but operates across Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.
Jennifer Hanley-Giersch
Jennifer Hanley-Giersch is a co-founder and managing partner of Berlin Risk and ALL AML. She is appointed Money Laundering Reporting Officer for a number of venture capital and private equity funds. Jennifer has a background in investigations and anti-financial crime and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Since 2020 Jennifer has worked on AFC, risk assessment and sanctions advisory projects. She has implemented and remediated a wide range of AFC compliance programms for investment funds as well as other obliged entities and supported clients during numerous audit cycles. Prior to that Jennifer spent 20 years working on a wide range of complex multi-jurisdictional investigations globally.
Jennifer is a founding member and regulatory director of the ACAMS Germany Chapter where she is appointed as Regulatory Director. She has published extensively on AFC topics and contributed to the RegTech Book as an expert on anti-financial crime technology with particular focus on KYC.
Dr. Axel Haus
Dr. Axel Haus is a capital market expert with extensive experience in both traditional banking and the dynamic world of FinTechs.
At Vanguard he is responsible for strategic partnerships with digital wealth platforms. He received his doctorate in economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, where he focused his research on venture capital, entrepreneurial finance, innovation, and patent litigation.
Bianca Zwart
As Chief Strategy Officer at bunq, Bianca drives the company’s user-centric mission forward. By deeply understanding the wants and needs of bunq’s users, Bianca shapes the company’s long-term strategy and removes roadblocks on bunq’s path to becoming the world’s first global bank for digital nomads. In this role, Bianca is in charge of bunq’s PR and communications teams that shape bunq’s public image and spread the word about bunq’s story with millions of bunq’s current and potential users. Moreover, as the company’s chief strategist, Bianca steers the team at the heart of everything bunq does: user operations.
After joining bunq as a frontline support guide in 2016, Bianca’s return to operations is a full circle. Having quickly grown to team leader in user support and Head of PR & Communications, Bianca left bunq to pursue her own entrepreneurial ventures. In 2018-2021, Bianca founded and scaled Black & White Communications, a PR agency working with fast-growing European companies and their inspiring founders, and Pioneer Academy, an educational, subscription-based platform that enables early-stage startup founders to build their own in-house PR-machine. After a successful exit, Bianca rejoined bunq as the company’s first Chief of Staff in 2022 where, involved in all facets of the business, she served as the co-pilot to bunq’s founder and CEO, Ali Niknam, and focused on removing operational obstacles that stood in the way of bunq’s mission.
Prof. Dr. Natalie Packham
Natalie Packham is Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at HWR Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law) and Principal Researcher within the International Research Training Group “High Dimensional Nonstationary Time Series” (IRTG 1792) at Humboldt University Berlin.
Natalie has several years of industry experience as a front office software engineer at an investment bank, and is frequently involved in industry-related research and consulting projects. Her research expertise includes Mathematical Finance, Financial Risk Management and Computational Finance, and her academic work has been published in Mathematical Finance, Finance & Stochastics, Quantitative Finance, Journal of Applied Probability and many other academic journals. She is associate editor of “Quantitative Finance”, “Methodology and Computing in Applied Probability” and “Digital Finance” and co-director of the Germany Chapter of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). She is currently co-head in the research project XAIFi, targeted at applying and developing methods of explainable AI for financial risk management.
Natalie holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bonn, a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from Frankfurt School, and a Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance from Frankfurt School.
Prof. Dr. Christina Erlwein-Sayer
Prof. Dr. Christina Erlwein-Sayer is a professor at HTW University of Applied Sciences in Berlin within the field of Financial Mathematics and Statistics.
She began her academic journey with a degree in Business Mathematics from the University of Trier. She subsequently completed her PhD in Mathematics at Brunel University in London in 2008, focusing on the application of hidden Markov models in financial modeling. Prof. Dr. Erlwein-Sayer has extensive professional experience, including her role as Senior Quantitative Analyst at OptiRisk Systems Ltd. in London and as a scientific researcher at the Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern. Her research interests include regime-switching models, predictive analytics, machine learning and news analytics within (sustainable) finance. She has contributed to various third-party funded collaborative projects and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
One of her current projects involves explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) for risk management in FinTechs within the framework of the IFAF (Institute for Applied Research Berlin) funding program, which aims to enhance transparency and understanding in AI-driven financial systems.
Adrian Fritz
Adrian Fritz is the Head of Research at 21Shares, producing macro-market commentaries and data-driven insight with a focus on the crypto asset industry.
Adrian completed a master's degree at HULT International Business School in San Francisco and began his career as a stock broker in New York. Prior to joining the crypto industry, he worked in traditional finance for many years including management consulting, corporate finance and investment banking.
Benjamin Lajimi
Benjamin is the Fintech Specialist at Business France, the French public agency dedicated to supporting the international development of French businesses and attracting foreign investments to France. As part of his role, Benjamin guides French Fintech companies in establishing their first steps in Germany, providing strategic advice and connections to succeed in this key European market.
He also co-runs the Impact Germany program, a startup accelerator tailored to help innovative French companies scale in Germany. Prior to his current role, he spearheaded business development in France for a German company. He also dedicates time to fostering the integration of young French-German talents into the dynamic Fintech ecosystem, leveraging his understanding of both markets and cultures.
Wing-Hin Chung
After graduating with a master degree in business administration, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Management of Free University Berlin. During this period, he gained his PhD with a dissertation on international joint ventures. He then started to work in a garment trading and manufacturing company with headquarters in Hong Kong and production bases in China. At the same time, he spent several years as a guest lecturer for German-Chinese business relations at Baptist University in Hong Kong.
Dr. Chung is an expert on both macro-economic development and international trade, and he has extensive sales and leadership experience in the private sector. During his tenure at InvestHK, he has helped numerous companies and start-ups from Europe to set up successfully in Hong Kong.
Chris Lo
Chris is Regional Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and responsible for the market in Europe, Central Asia and Israel. He has an international career and has spearheaded different mega trade programmes and initiatives promoting stronger and more impactful trade and investment partnership between Hong Kong and its global partners, covering key industries including biomedical innovation and healthcare services, creative industries, financial services, infrastructure development, supply chain and logistics management, fashion and jewellery, food and beverages and more.
Prior to his current position, Chris steered HKTDC’s programme and operations in France, Spain and Portugal between 2023 and mid-2024, and in Western United States between 2017 and 2020. He played a pivotal role facilitating European and U.S. enterprises and investors across different sectors to trade, invest and do business in Asia through partnership with Hong Kong. Chris also managed the Secretariat of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, a unique network of 47 Hong Kong Business Associations in 36 countries and regions with over 11,000 associates between 2020 to 2022. Added to the HKTDC, Chris also worked for the United Nations International Trade Center in Switzerland as well as the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Fabian Platzen
Fabian Platzen is General Manager Germany at the German-British SME financier iwoca. He has over 20 years of experience in banking and fintech.
Before joining iwoca, Fabian Platzen was Managing Director of the digital receivables management and collection company PAIR Finance. For the Berlin-based fintech, he was responsible for finance and operations as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer since 2018 and accompanied the company's development into profitability until its exit at the end of 2022. For the Dutch NIBC Bank, he built up the Fintechs and Financial Services team and successfully established the bank in this segment as a provider of financing solutions for companies. Fabian Platzen started his career at Commerzbank AG and advised medium-sized companies on refinancing solutions as Local Head Financial Engineering.
Anastasia Zencika
Anastasia Zencika is the Founder and CEO of Evotym, a recruitment agency specializing in Fintech and Crypto talent for global companies. She also mentors through Growth Mentors, offering career advice, team-development strategies, and corporate culture coaching.

David Erhun
David Erhun is a Startup Success specialist at then pan-European VC XAnge where he supports a portfolio of 100 ambitious founders across Europe with their growth challenges.
David previously led international relations for thecamp, one of France’s most exciting innovation hubs, and led the U.S. expansion of the Paris based hardware startup, Invoxia. Dr. Tamaz Georgadze
Dr. Tamaz Georgadze is CEO and co-founder of Raisin. He has led the Berlin-based fintech since it was founded and has been instrumental in its success. Today, Raisin operates its platform in the EU, UK, and USA. Serving as a marketplace connecting banks with savers, it has grown into one of Europe’s most prominent fintechs.
Before founding Raisin, Dr. Georgadze spent a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he advised leading banks and financial institutions, ultimately serving as a partner. He is also a trusted advisor to Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance in the Digital Finance Forum (DFF) and engages with the broader start-up ecosystem.

Oliver Mohseni
Oliver is the co-founder of Froda, a leading SME lender and embedded finance player in Europe.
